Questions

Questions owners actually ask

Plain answers, no hedging. If yours isn’t here, ask for the free check — the answer you actually want is usually specific to your business anyway.

Why doesn’t my business show up when people ask ChatGPT or Google who to call?

It’s rarely a verdict on your work, and it usually isn’t a broken website either. When someone asks who to call for a specific service in a specific town, the systems answer from the picture the web paints of your business — what you do, where you do it, and whether independent sources agree. If your site never states that plainly, or different places on the web describe you differently, you’re simply not a confident answer to that question. Many excellent contractors are findable but never suggested: they appear if you search their name, and never come up when the customer doesn’t know it yet.

My reputation around town is excellent. Why isn’t that enough?

Because a reputation earned offline, or on one platform, doesn’t automatically reach the place the recommendation is built from. If the profile search engines and AI assistants actually read is thin or filed under the wrong kind of business, everything you’ve earned is invisible exactly where the decision happens. That’s the common shape of this problem: strong on the ground, badly undersold online. Much of our work is attaching the reputation you already have to the places that get read.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

It overlaps, but the goal is different. Classic SEO tries to rank a webpage for a keyword. We work on your business’s whole identity — your Google Business Profile, categories, listings, reviews, structured data, and site content — so that many independent sources agree on what you do and where you do it. That agreement is what gets you considered at all when someone asks who to call in your area. It’s a question of being visible, not of winning a contest for best.

What is the Free Visibility Check?

You give us your business name, service area, and email. We research how your business appears to the tools your customers use — Google, Maps, AI assistants, review sites, directories — and send you one real finding: a specific problem, the evidence behind it, a competitor example, and one recommended fix. It’s free, and there’s no sales call required to get it.

What do I get in the $997 Visibility Blueprint?

A complete picture of how your business appears everywhere customers look — AI answers, Google and Maps, your website, reviews, directories and mentions — compared side-by-side with the three competitors currently being recommended instead of you. It’s summarized in your Visibility Score: one number, five sub-scores, every point backed by evidence you can check yourself. Then a 90-day plan in three 30-day chunks — fix these first, build these next, strengthen these last — and a one-hour walkthrough call where we go through it together in plain language. Every finding comes with the exact steps to fix it, whether or not you ever hire us again.

You contacted me saying my new website already exists. What’s the catch?

No catch — that’s just how we work. Instead of pitching mockups, we build a working version of your new site first, so you can see exactly what you’d be getting before you spend a minute or a dollar. If you like it, it becomes yours on the Website Growth plan and we point your domain at it. If you don’t, you say no and that’s the end of it — no obligation.

What’s the difference between Website Growth and Full Visibility Management?

Website Growth ($499/mo) is your website, handled and worked on every month with one aim: being visible for the services you offer in the towns you serve. We build it — no setup fee — then host, secure, and update it, and each month we keep at it: service pages, town pages, real local proof, seasonal updates, speed and structure. You get a monthly plain-language report on what the site brought in. Full Visibility Management ($799/mo) includes all of that, plus everything around the site: we manage your Google profile, listings, and directory presence ourselves, so the whole web agrees on what you do and where. You also get a short list of the steps only you can take — the few actions that need the owner, and the things worth doing on the job that strengthen your visibility: photos worth keeping, customers worth asking, details worth recording. We monitor your reviews, what AI assistants answer, and what competitors are doing, and your monthly report shows your Visibility Score, what changed, what we did, and what’s next. In short: Website Growth runs and grows your website; Full Visibility Management runs the whole system, with you handling only what genuinely needs the owner.

Do you do the fixes for me?

On the Visibility Blueprint, you get the exact steps for every fix — written so you or anyone on your team can do them without us. On the monthly plans, we do the work: your website is ours to build and improve, and on Full Visibility Management we also handle your Google profile, listings, and directories ourselves with access you delegate to us. The only things left to you are the few actions that genuinely require the owner — and for those you get exact steps from us. You keep control of your own accounts throughout.

Do you guarantee first place in Google or AI answers?

No — and nobody honest can. Rankings and AI answers are decided by systems we don’t control. What we do control: every finding in your report is backed by evidence you can verify, every fix follows the platforms’ own published guidelines, and we measure and report what changes.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Owner-operated trade businesses — foundation and waterproofing, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and exteriors. Typically companies with a real reputation and real work to show, whose online identity doesn’t do that work justice.

What does “one partner per trade per area” mean?

We take one client per trade in a given service area. We can’t honestly work to make two direct competitors each the obvious choice — so we don’t. If your competitor signs with us first, we’ll tell you that slot is taken.

How long until I see results?

Honestly: it varies. Some fixes are immediate (categories, profile data, structured data), but their effect compounds over weeks as systems re-read your presence. Review growth and content are gradual by nature. That’s why the Blueprint’s plan covers 90 days and the monthly plans report every month — you see movement, not promises.

How is the audit actually done?

A person examines your business the way your customers’ tools do: your Google Business Profile and categories, review platforms, directories, your website’s pages and structured data, and what Google and AI assistants actually answer when asked about your trade in your area. Software gathers the evidence; a human writes the diagnosis. Every claim in the report links to a source you can check.
